Yamaha’s Yard Built 2017 programme, kicks off with one…. or rather two excellent builds from Winston Yeh, of Rough Crafts, Taipei.
Using the trusty XSR700, from Yamaha’s Sports Heritage range, as the base – and adhering to the Yard Built programme policy of zero cutting or welding of the frame, Rough Customs has, in essence, created two custom kits; The Corsa Scorcher and the Soil Scorpion . One kit takes the form of a slick cafe racer/street bike and the other a hard-knock, off-road ready, scrambler.
